Summer is just around the corner! If you enjoy having a diverse selection of fresh produce in your home all summer, we hope you'll join us for this year's CSA. In addition to securing a steady flow of delicious veggies, your purchase of a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share also provides critical early season funds to help us get the farm ready for the season ahead.
A typical CSA bag contains 6-8 items (avg. $28 of veggies, often more). A bag in June/July might have: 1 bunch each of kale, radishes, carrots, and parsley, 2 zucchini, and 1/2 lb each arugula and lettuce mix. An August/September bag might have 1 bunch each of chard and basil, 1/2 pound peppers or eggplant, 1/2 lb tomatoes, 1/2 lb lettuce heads, 2 heads of garlic, and 2 leeks.
Our Full Share CSA runs for 18 weeks (Saturdays: June 1 - September 28 / Tuesdays: May 28 - September 24). When you sign up, be sure to choose the pickup day and location that you want (either Tuesdays or Saturdays, and picking up at either the farm in La Cienega or our stand at the Santa Fe Farmers Market). The pickup window will be 8am-1pm.
***Bags that are are not picked up are donated within two days. If you'd like to sign up for a CSA but will be out of town for some pick up days, we recommend having a friend pick up your CSA while you're away.***
